Busto, Asturias, Spain

Introducing

Hi! We are a family of 4, my husband, two daughters aged 1 and 2 and me (Cecilia). We live in a large country house set in a small village, Busto, one of the last around here who still has a working light house operated by a friend of ours. The walk towards it takes 20 minutes at leisure by the cliffs, crossing though fields and fields of corn, grass for the cows and trees. Asturias is a region known for its milk, broad beans and cider. Our house has 4 double rooms, three bathrooms a large kitchen and living room with an overhead projector to watch tv. Laundrette, shed, several apple trees and pear trees, and 3000mts of fenced garden. There are several beaches nearby. The largest town arround would be 8kmts from here, Luarca (10.000 people in the winter and three times as many in the summer) where you kind find all facilities and services. Big city would be Gijón or Oviedo, both 50 minutes drive from here.

Larger supermarkets, shops pharmacies, hospitals, and other services are found in Luarca, 8kmts from here (traditional market on wednesdays). There are a few milk farms in the village and many other animals apart from cows can be seen, specially horses but also sheep, hens, porks, rabits.
